police officer has been shot after following up on another shooting. we will have a live report from the scene coming up. >> we're taking a live look from our mount tam camera. a good start to this tuesday morning. first let us get to the traffic desk. >> we are tracking problems continuing on 101 a northbound direction chains. our hot spot is an accident on the bayshore freeway north of 92 door avenue backing up the traffic court ralston on the bayshore freeway. as we worked to clear the crash to ease the congestion coming off of the san mateo bridge at 92 in the west bound direction. >> also continue to watch the bay bridge which was an early morning hot spot. some improvement especially for the 880 approach. if the east shore freeway is slow all the way from golden gate fields. that is a long ride of a total east shore freeway drive time is 23 minutes. that is better than normal. >> the ride coming out of

>> we are following a developing story east bay oakland specifically. we're right now police and still searching for to men who they say shot an undercover police officer. it happened just after 6:00 last night on the 1700 block of seminary ave. this is video from our helicopter partnership with abc seven news. so far they have managed to attain one person possibly connected to the shooting. the officer was shot suffered not life- threatening injuries. kron fours will trn has been monitoring the situation. have they been letting people out to go to work. >> know. this is under lock down as they continue to collect evidence. 13 hours after the shooting a swat vehicle is there and a flashing light. that is a flatbed truck allowed in about 30 minutes ago. we do not know which party plans to remove from the scene. we

know the undercover officer was sitting in his car at the time when three men came up to him got into a confrontation, shots were fired. the under cover officer was shot in the arm. eight responding officer got to the scene called back up and got to the scene. the chp brought their helicopter. they had a net cast over the neighborhood for the search. there were able to capture one man. two men remain. they plan to hold a news conference in to 0.5 hours. 2.5 hours. >> the undercover was doing a stakeout pertaining to a shooting two days ago. officers are tight lipped about whether or not the person is in any way connected to the shooting that took place on sunday. that victim is still in the hospital light trading interest. >> as far as this seemed

the hospital would not life- threatening injuries. now that the sun is up you can get a better look at the police activity. there is a slot vehicle there. a couple of moments ago we saw four or five swat members of their moving toward the house. right now there collecting evidence. as far as we know what the people we have talked to, they are not actively searching for the two suspects to remain at large this morning. we do know there is a little bit of wiggle room as far as the last 15 minutes or so. it will they have been locked down but there now alarm people to move around. people aren't allowed to leave the area if they were going to work. you can leave this area as long as you're being escorted by police

officer on the scene. an officer was doing a stakeout when three men confronted him. he was here because he was investigating possibly in connection from this location to a shooting that took place two days ago. they were able to detain one person. two people are still out there. they quickly got to the scene and they also got assistance from the chp. still no arrests have been made but more informations it should be coming out around two hours from now. because an officer was involved with the shooting there was a news conference with the police chief this morning. >> new this morning caltrans will begin making repairs today to the bay bridge offenders that were damaged when an oil tanker struck the bridge earlier this morning. to get your news faster return to crime

follows a reporter jackie sissel adjoins is live from the embarcadero. >> it was 15 days ago that the 755 oversees a real are actually struck the fender of the east tower on the western span of the bay bridge. construction crews are out there and caltrans will get started repairing that fender today. this all started january 7th when the overseas real are struck the offender and they sampras's go bay. caltrans says the damage may be as much as two to $3 million and may take them up to four and a half months to actually fixed the offender. the san there did its job. that is the good news. it will have to be replaced with recycled plastic and steel. it will cost somewhere between two to $3 million. caltrans says

they just cleared the waves of this multi vehicle accident at thornton but is backed up traffic all the way into san leandro. 67 minutes drive times from 92 down to fremont boulevard. that should be about a 20 minute trip and the southbound direction so a rough ride here. also earlier occuring problems on 680 south is still backed up for concord to highway four. i knew accident on the east shore freeway here between ashby and howell makes the right even slower in the westbound direction. also after almost recovering from early morning problems the bay bridge is now at a standstill with a new stall. it is a truck right at the top of the incline section blocking the right hand lane. the drive time should be around 18 to 20 minutes are likely to climb once again. >> speaking of climbing let's look at temperatures. right now we're about the
